Dixon were ministers in NYC at this time, associated with the revival. Thomas later became notorious (to liberals) as a novelist, writing "The Clansman" which served as the basis for "The Birth of a Nation". A.C. seems to have been a fundamentalist, later moving to Chicago and associating with Dwight Moody.
