Gold Records in Yale Divinity

From an email message from Beth Chase:

Click the G and scroll down to Gold.   http://www.library.yale.edu/div/spc/ChinaMissionariesYDSL.html  This is just an archive listing, but they tell you what needs to be done to access the documents.
This link takes you to a picture from that time:    http://digitallibrary.usc.edu/search/controller/view/impa-m9215.html
Click on the picture to enlarge it. You can save it if you don't have it by right clicking, save as.... You have to print the info separately although I am not sure it is accurate.

Another picture from the same time frame and same source as above.    http://digitallibrary.usc.edu/search/controller/view/impa-m9215.html

Another picture from the same source. Uncle Ralph is credited as photographer but I can't tell if he is in it.  http://digitallibrary.usc.edu/search/controller/view/impa-m5764.html

Got around to doing another search for Ralph in the Yale archives.  Ralph apparently  donated 130 b&w photographs which are indexed here. They are in very good condition, mostly.  I might have a vague memory of Ralph having glass slides at one time, which might be the media used here.  There are rough dates.

It’s interesting—the info from Beth has links to the USC library, which seems to have four photos.  USC credits Yale as the source and Ralph as photographer but somehow has much more detailed information (i.e., names of the people in the photos.)

Ralph's picture of a bride on the way to her wedding has been saved a couple times with commentary.
